I try to make a habit out of reading Christian biography. I do so because I found the stories and lives of those who have gone before me to be challenging, encouraging, insightful, and illustrative. As I read these stories of flesh and blood people, who are human just like me, I am amazed at how God’s grace and providence shines through their lives.
A few years ago, Desiring God ministries produced a wonderful project for the 500th anniversary of the Reformation in which they put together 31 mini-biographies of 31 different Reformers. You can now get these all in one place by either reading or listening through them. If you click on the picture below it will take you to the webpage which contains all 31 biographies. I encourage you to check it out and be challenged and encouraged.
